The total gross revenue for tlio year was £28,891, and tho gross profit £5670. . The 1 sum #of £1949 has been written off for depreciation on plant, machinery, and buildings, £5320 for development, shaft. sinking, and prospecting, £3047 for-income tax in tncland and New Zealand. £2562 rates an New Zealand, £377 for interest, and £875 added to gold reserve, loa-vinu a bOuance of £894, which has been carried forward. Up to tho timo of tic shutting down of tlio inino 11,538 tons of ore were milled and treated, yielding bullion to tho vaUue of £26,596, and in addition £2170' was received. from tho sale of concentrates. Oro "reserves. am estimated by tho Eenoral manager at 71,905 tons and, im addition, a further, tonnaee amounting to 27,715 tons of "possible ore. or onlv partly developed ore, makine a total of 99,620 tons of an 'average value of lOlßdwt. over Z6ia.
