Tlio conductor was struck on the leg by tho hub of tho wheel of a stationary landau, and fl-lii failing it is supposed that he struck tho splashboard before striking the wood-blocks. Luckily the car was pulling: up at the time, and had not much speed on. Otherwise the accident would certainly have been 'a serious-one.. As it was," Hroadlnirst was bruised and considerably shaken by 'his misad' venture. ,
