g : . s Extensive preparations are in hand for the Mercantile Marine Fair, to be y opened at the Missions to Seamen by ® their Excellencies the Earl and Countess '!; of Liverpool on Wednesday aftornoon " next. Tho fair will remain open till J] Saturday, and special 'attractions are " promised for each afternoon and even- •' inR. The boys of the N.Z.T.S. Anio--10 jciira will provide a unique novelty, entitled "A Life on the Ocean Wave," and other interesting items. A number of gaily-dressed children will talco part in a grand spectacular march and maypole dance, under the direction of Miss jT lib ml. of tlio prominent city ,1 bands will provide musical items each evening. The stalls will ho replete with 11 goods both, useful and ornamental, iy The Seamen's Missioner, Mr. _W.
