The Wellington Club's annual tcn-milo handicap was held on Saturday - Thirteen competitors were dispatched by the starter. Mr. W. H. Pollock, ui. the following order:—o. O'Neill (13min ), B. Hatelev and S. Bemams (pram.), A. Pleasant, E. Canavon, G. Weston (Binin.), T. J. Kerr (6min.), W. Power (omin. 30sec.), C. Rowberry and 11. Ea«lo (lmin.)i the scratch men being 6 W. Bennett, W. Donaldson, and W. ' Tress. Honours fell to jL. J. Kerr, 6 6iniii., first, time Tomin. 20src.;_W. Bennett, scr. 3 finished sccond, oosec. behind, and recorded tlie fastest time, TOmin. losec. W. Donaldson, scr., filled fho third place, losec. behind Bennett. The day was perfect, but competitors found tlie cours» extremely heavy.
