HUTT FLOWER SHOW.
Tile spring show of the Hntt Valley Horticultural Society is advertised to bo, held on Thursdav aiict Friday next. The. opening:ceremony will bo attended by their Excellencies the Earl and Countess of Liverpool, and if tho weather conditions'aro favourable there will no , doubt be a good attenclanco of viators. ; Tho show is expected to bo well up to • tho society's standard, as tho season ; has been good and thcro will bo keen ■ competition, especially for tho two valuable trophies presented by tho Licensed Victuallers' Association and Messrs. Ban- and Sons. A number of entries from tho principal growers outside tho district haxe already been received.
