ENGAGEMENT. Tho annual Rugby match between tho Wellington and Christehurch Post and Telegraph teams is to be played at Christehurch to-day. Tho Wellington team left for south by tho Wahine last night. It includes several of the regular players in the Rugby Union's senior competition—Little,.Player, Fisher, and Griffiths. Irving, a well-known player who has represented several provinces, is also a member of the team. Tho players return hero on Sunday morning. , FEILDING CLUB'S RECORD. (By Telesraph—Frees Association.) Feilding, August 29.. The Manawatu Rugby Union competitions aro now over.. Tbo Feilding teams havo won livo out of tho six trophies. Tlio seniors havo won the Ilankins Shield for the championship foritlio third timo in succession, and six times in sovcu years. The juniors havo won tho championship cup, aud also tho Gibbons Cup for the "sudden death" competition. The thirds won their championship, and also the "sudden death"' competition for tho Foote Shield.
