' With tlio balance brought forward tliero is £35,222 to distribute. Tho directors proposo dividends of 6 per cent, on preference shares, 8 per cent, on ordinary shares, a 6 per cent, bonus on khare- 1 holders' purchases of merchandise, 25 ' por cent rebate on commissions (except wool), 5 por cent, bonus on salaries, £1000 to tho Institute Fund for accident and fidelity risks, £600 added to 1 tho doubtful debt reserve fund, £1157 to ordinary reserve, and tho balance being carried forward. Tho directors will suggest at tho annual meeting the issuo of £50,000 worth of 6 per cent, preferential shares to meet tlie expansion •of business. HOME FREIGHTS. Mr. 11. J. 11.
