Sir,—l have had my attention dravn' to tho accouut..of the proceedings of the meeting lield Inst night in connection with the letter which I sent, per a private person, and as 1 note a, mistake has taken place in that letter by me inserting "we" instead of "I," as intended, I must' ask your committee, in fairness to llio Management' Committee and officials, to reconsider 'this matter in justice to them, because I wrote thot letter without their permission,' with the, exception of tho first part relating to ths withdrawal of the club. I desire to thank the men who so kindly consented • to place me 0-n tho old age pension list for the remainder of my "eoccct" carecr, iiiid /beg to state that seeing thot I Bhall not have the riiisi'ortuiio to moet them ngain in "soccer" circles, 1 trust the late officials of my club will not be approached in future to lend money to get married on, as one. of .your member* has done, and who so nobly assisted in passing sentence- on mo lind my friends.
