Mr. T. M. WILFORD (Hutt) gave Hotico to ask tlio Prime Minister whether 'as much aa £80,000 had been received by tlio Government; last year as a fesult of the .operations of tho Graduated Land Tax.
Mr. WILFORD gave notice also that ho Would ask the Government whether it was their intention to reduce tho majority required for tho carrying of a proposal at tho local option poll in this year, or in election year. (Dunedin North) asked tho Primo Minister whether it was tlio intention of the Government to tako advantage of tho visit of Lord Emmott,' Under-Secretary of State for tho Colonics, to discuss with him tho question of tho condominium in tho Now Hebrides, in view of the very unsatisfactory condition of affairs intlioio islands. The Hon. AV. F. MASSEY said that tho Government had already been in touch with Lord Emmott. That morning along with the Hon.
