TO BE FIRED. TO-MORROW. The secondary school cadets who. have been chosen to represent the Dominion in the Earl Roberts Imperial Trophy competition are now in camp at Trentham. On Tuesday the .'first firing'prac-. tices were carried out, tho Otago and Wellington hoys being engaged in grouping practice. Each cadet fired five shots at a figiire i tn a first-class figuro target and five shots at a black spotting disc on a white background. The majority of the boys grouped batter on tho figure than on the bull's-eye. ,Th 9 following are the' scores (tho diameters of the groups are given in inches): Figure ; Bull'starget. eye.
