FRENCH PLANTER'S DEATH.
MURDERED AT THE'NEW HEBRIDES. By Telegraph—Press Association—Co'py right (Rec. August 27, 9.55 p.m.) Sydney, August 27. Four natives have murdered a French planter named Guitol at.the island of Epi, in tlio New Hebrides. Tlio French warship Kersaint, by threatening to burn _ the villages, induced the nativeß to give up the four murderers, who were taken to Vila for trial.
