fßpeoiallj- Written for The Dohihion.] THURSDAY. . Potato Soup. Roast Shoulder of Mutton.' Onion Sauce. Baked Potatoes. Artichokes. Treacle Pudding. TREACLE PUDDING. Two eggs, their weight in butter and flour, the weight of one in brown sugar, J teaspoon soda, 2 tablespoons treacle of golden syrup. Cream the butter and sugar, warm the treacle a little, add to the butter and sugar, beat tlio eggs well and sift the flour; add these gradually, to the mixture. Last of all dissolvo the soda in a little milk and add at once; beat in well. Fill a well-greasod mould three-parts full with the mixture, cover with a greased paper and steam 1 hour. Turn out and servo with custard sauce. FOR TO-MORROW. i Stock. Curry Powder. Boiled Rice. One Schnapper. Apples. Pastry.
