The following changes in stations amongst the Roman Catholic clergy are notified:—Tho Rev. Father Bowe, of Carterton, has been .transferred to Danliovirke; Rev. Father ICinkoad, of Marton, will go to Carterton, his place being taken by Rev. Father Doolaghty, of Palmerston North. Rev. a'ather •Tas. Kelly, who recently arrived from England, will be assistant priest at Palmerston North. Vacancies at St. Anno's, Newtown, and Boulcott Street, have been occasioned by tho appointment of Rev. Father J- Gngfraii to Thorndon, and of Roy. Father A. I. Herring to Temuka, where lie joins tho Marist Missionaries.
The funeral of the R-ov. W. Tinslev, a veteran Methodist minister, of 48 years' service, took ]}lacG at Levin josterday afternoon. His widow, who survived him only two days, juiied in tho same grave.—Press Association. Mr It Lee, who lias already served for nine years as chairman of tho Wellington Education Board, was reelected to tho chair yesterday. Yesterday's arrivals at' tlm Royal Oak Hotel included tho Rev. Ollivier (Cliristchurch), and >V. Izard (Christcluirch) arrived in Wellington yesterday, and arc stopping at tho Grand Hotel. Now arrivals at the Empire_Hotel yesterdav wU-Messrs. P. N.
