SUMMARY AND FORECAST.
Present, indications are for cold and changeable weather, showery on tho Bast Ooast and northern, districts, with strong to south-easterly winds predominating. The baj-ometer 13 unsteady, hut probably rising aeain soon for a short time. Bouth-easterfly winds strong to Eale have prevailed, especially about Oook Strait, and the weather has been cold and showery, with heavy rain, in parts.
