Mrs. Goldstein heard shots fired in a lower room of tho houso on August 9,. and upon (investigating found her husband dead and her son mortally ■wounded, and a revolver lying on thft floor botween tho two A verdict was returned that tho father murdered the son and then committed suicide.' Evidence was givem that tho father had opposed tho son marrying a certain. girl_, and threatened to blow out liia brains if ho did. The father had been informed anonymously shortly before tho tragedy that tho son bad married. Tho son's widow was called, and doposed that they had been married in May last, but had not started housekeeping.
