Flour, 2 teacups, 1 teacup sugar, 1 teacup suet, 1 teacup milk, 1 egg, J teaspoon Boda, 1 t-oaspooii croam ot tartar, J teacup raisins, grated rind of J lemon. Shred and chop the suot finely; clean tko raisins, cut them in half; dissolve the-soda in a little warm milk; sift tho flour aad cream of tartar together, rub in the suet thoroughly: then add tho sugar and fruit, and tfion tho beaten egg and tho milk and soda. Greaso a baking-tin, and pour in the mixtures. Bako about half ail hour in a moderate oven. Tost with a skewer as for cakes. Serve with sauce. FOR TO-MORROW. Stook meat was boiled in . Cold mutton.
