HAGERTY 'AND HANNAN DRAW. (Br IWofrrftph—Press Ajeoclation.) Westport, A\igust 24. At the Wostport Boxing Association's tournament last night J. Hagorty, of Timaru, fought a fifteen-round bout for tho light-weight championship of New Zealand and a purse of £50. Tho match wont tlio full fifteen rounds, Hagerty having the better of tho earlier rounds, and Hannan tho better ill tho latter stages. Mr. Dovere, tho referee, declared tho bout a draw.
