On Friday the match for the Earl Roberts Imperial trophy will -be fired for by ,the Senior Cadets throughout tho Empire. Tho New Zealand representatives are: —Cadets Wallingford, Hill, Ernest (Auckland Grammar School), Evans, Wright, Peat (Waitaki High School), Hogg, Kell, Nicholl, Rayward, and Frost (Wellington College). Tho boys will go into camp at Trentham to-mor-row to undergo instruction and training under Major Matheson (Wellington College Cadets), .who will be assisted .by Sergeant-Major Parkcs. -The general public may watch the match, which is essentially a service one. Last year tho match was Won by the Natal Cadets, the Wellington College team coming an equal third, and making the highest score in tho Empire for snap shooting. Tho team failed badly in tho "advance?' practices, owing to tho rough nature of tho ground'travelled; over. The match was in danger of falling through last year as far as New Zealand was concerned, no entries being received from outside Wellington Col Icm, w'hich, under tho circumstances, did very well. It is expected that the team named 4.b0v0 will do much better.
