A PROFITABLE LAND UNDERTAKING.

9 : QUICK RETURNS WITH FREEHOLD SECURITY. SHARES IN A LIMITED-NUMBER OFFERED TO THE PUBLIC.

A few days ago we published for the Waiotapu Land Syndicate, Limited, an announcement in which some 10,000 6hnres in the 1 Waiotapu Estates Development Company, Ltd., wero offeied to the public. The opportunity is equally attractive to small and larger investors, for the' price at which the Company have purchased the Waiotapu block of land, viz., 255. per aora, is obviously a very low one for pumice land, well watered, and practically all level enough to bs immediately ploughable. The Company propose to improve the land, subdivide and re-sell it almost immediately at £3. per acre, which is considered a very conservative estimate of its value in small holdings suitable far young settlers. The capital of the Company is ,£20,000, divided into '20,000 shares of .£1 each; 2s. per share is all that is paid up, so that for. every «£lO cash paid investors secure a .CIOO interest in tho Company. The outside amount which can be called up thereafter is Is. per sha.ro per month, but it is estimated that the land will bo'resold at a substantial profit even before it is neeossarv to call up the whole of tho Capital. Full printed particulars of tho Company, with photographs of orops frrown in the Waiotapu vicinity and oil the property, a map showing the locality of tho block, and a convenient form of order for shares may be had from A. T. Bate (Nathan's Buildings), corner of Crrev and Featherston Streets, tho Wellington broker for tlie_ Syndicate. A convenient form of enquiry is appended.
