Tho Peace Congress rccommonded that an effort should bo made to bring about a Franco-German rapprochement, nnd also that tho Panama Canal dispute between Britain and tlio United States bo submitted to Tlio Haguo for .arbitration unless it is sottled diplomatically, NEXT MEETING AT VIENNA. (Reo, August 25, 0.20 a.m.) The Hague, August 24. 1 It has been decided that tho next Peace Congress should bo held at Vienna in 1914.
