Mr. and Mrs. S. Bolton,'of Pahiatua, and the Misses Bolton intend leaving England for Now Zealand on September 28. Mr. and Mrs. W. M'Kinnon, who havo been visiting Christ-church, returned to Arapawnui (Hawke's Bay) on Friday. Invitations have been issued by the "K-nuts" to another "hard-up dance," ■which will be held in St. Peter's Schoolroom in September. At no time does the hair require more attention than in the spring.
