fSijaoially Written for Tsi DoiinnoH.] Brown soup. Irish stew. Potatoes. Pumpkin'. Steamed bread and butter pudding. BREAD 'AND BUTTER PUDDING. Slices 'of stale bread (buttered), raisins or sultanas, sugar _to taste, three-quarters of a pint of milk, 2 eggs. Butter a pudding basin, ornament with 'raisins, fill with slices |of bread and butter; sprinkle the sultanas between. Beat tho eggs, add' the milk (cold) and the-saigar, pour it in gradually, and let it quite cover the bread and butter. Let it stand for at least half an hour before cooking. Cover with a greased paper, and steam it one hour. -Do not let tie water boil too fast. Turn out and! serve with a nice pudding sauce. FOR TO-MORROW. Stook. Half a pint of peas, soaked overnight. Leg of mutton. Suot. Raisins.
