Tliero were sixteen entries for tho senior championship, and! consequently 110 byes. In tho iirst round Miss V. Bell defeated Mrs. Holmes, Mrs. Loos defeated Miss 8011, Miss Calleiider won from Mrs. Collins by default, Miss L. Brandon defeated Miss Wheeler, Miss A. Pearco defeated Miss Ewen, Miss Burnes won from Jlr6. Watkins by default, Mrs. Bid will won from Miss Simpson by default, Miss Collins defeated Mrs/ Turnbull. In tho socond round, Miss V< Bell defeated Mrs. Lees, Miss L. Brandon defeated Miss Callender, Miss A. Pearco defeated Miss Burnes, Miss Collins do* fcated Mrs. B'dwill. In tho scmi-linals Miss L. Brandon defeated Miss V. Bell, and Miss A. Pearco defeated Miss Collins. In tho finals, Miss A. Pearco defeated Miss L. Brandon. Tho match 1 was well fought, 'tho play of both being good. Thoro were cloven entries for tl.o junior championship, Jliss Z. Nathan, Misj Stewart, Mrs. T. Young, Miss Miles, and Miss Mass drawing byes. In tho first round Mrs. Marchbanks defeated Miss B. Watson, Mrs. C. Pearco defeated Mrs. Tripp. Mrs. King defeated Miss S. Nathan In (ho second round Miss Stewart defeated Miss 7,. Nathan, Mrs. Marchbanks defeated Mrs. T. Young, Mrs. Is.ing defeated Mrs. C. Pearco, Misa Mass defeated Miss Miles. In tho semi-finals, Miss Stewart defeated Mrs. Marchbanks, Mrs. King-defeated Miss Mass. I" tho finals, Mrs. King defeated Miss Stewart. In tho handicap medal competitions Miss Stewart, 101-31-73, 1; Miss Moss, 115-3G-79, 2. In tlio Handicap Pofty Competition Miss V. Bell, handicap 17—1 up on liogy, 1; Miss B. Watson, handicap 2S—l down on bogy, 2. Tlio putting championship was not lmislied. Tho best putting card on 'Wednesday was handed in by 11 iss A. Pearco, tlio scoro being 33. On Thursday Miss Collins and Miss Ewen tied with 31.
