Messrs Dalgcty and Company, Ltd., report:—We held our fortnightly sale of wool, skim?, hide*, and tallow yesterday afternoou, when wo offered a good catalogue to tho usual attcudance of buyers. Prices for wool and skins were on a par with those ruling at last sale, whilst hides showed an advance all round of Id. to id. per lb. Wool: Crutchings, medium, 6d. to 7}rt.; crittchiDgfi, inferior, 5Jd. lo 6d.; crossbred, 7id. to 9d.; lambs, 6d.; dead, Bid. to BJd.; locks, 3Jd. Sheepskins: Crossbred, 7*d. to Bjd.; halfbrcd, Bid.; halfwools, 71 d.; quarter-wools, 7d.; hoggets, CJd. to Bid.; pelts, 5d.; damaged, Od. to 7d.; crossbred, salted, at each, 4s. to 7s. 6r1.; crossbred, damp, at each, 6?. 6d, to 7s. 4d. Bidding was keen for everything offered. Wool aud 6kina sold on a par with last Gales' rates, whilst hides sold at from 3-Bd. to id. per lb. above last sales' prices. Wool: Halfbred and three-quarter-bred fleece', 9Jd. to 93d.; crossbred, 9d. to 9Jd.; sliped crossbred fleece, Hid.; dead, Bid.; black wool, 73d.; medium crutchings, 7d; to 73d. Tallow, fat, rabbitskins, and horso hair-also mot a good market. Messrs. -Murray, Roberts and Co., Ltd., report:—Our catalogue comprised 25 bales of wool, 6900 sheepskins, 590 'hides, and 500 calfskins. Bidding was extremely l;een, especially in hides, which showed an advance on last salo's prices of a farthing to 3-Bd. per lb. Some, specially good lota of hides wero keenly sought after at up to Id. per lb. better than last sale. Shoepskins and wool sold rogularly at prices ruling at last sale. Wool: Crossbred, medium, Bd. to 9d. per lb.; crulchings, medium to good, 73d.-to Bid. per lb.; crutohings, heavy, inferior, seedy, 6}d. to 7d. per lb.
