Another Ford Record. Mr. S. A. Cheney, o! Adelaide, put up a new motor record on Saturday, May 10th, covering the distance between Adelaide and Broken Hill (335 miles) in 13 hours 55 minutes. He left Adelaide at half-past 3 a.m., and reached the terminal point at Broken Hill at 25 minutes pastl 5 p.m. the same day. Cheney drove-a "Ford," and was accompanied by Mr. B. Ealph. Ho passed through 98 gates, 88 of which his companion had to open and shut. The previous record was 1G hours, standing to the credit of Allen Doone.
