The North Island Brewery Coy., of Mangatainoka, tho famous manufacturers of Tui alo and stout, have now found it, necessary, owing to the rapid growth of thoir business, to in,cjease their plant and extend their premises. Tho plant now being erected includes a Pontifex 35-barrel boiler from England, a new fermenting tun with a capacity of 25 hogsheads, and a liiw and modern refrigerar tor. Extension's to tho present building will cover a new bottling store, with all the latest machinery for this department and a set of new offices. All the additions will bo built in brick and concrete. Mr. Cowan, manager'of ■ the company, states that tho demand for Tui ales and stout is ever on tho increase.and daily the company are getting an abundance of orders from all parts of tho Dominion.
