In tho Supremo Court to-day James Wilson Wood, a worker, of South Dunedin, applied for a dissolution of his marriage, with Elizabeth Heath Wilson, on tile ground of misconduct. Henry Jones, of 'IV)kaanu, hush contractor, was joined as co-respondent. Petitioner claimed JC2SO damages, also tho custody of two children of the marriage. A decree nisi was awarded, as claimed, with costs, against co-respondent on tho lowest scale. _ A decree nisi was also granted in tho cases of Albert Joseph Thomas, labourer, of Mosgiel, against Esther Thomas and ohn Palhner co-respondent. £230 DAMAGES. At the Supreme Court, to-day, Georgo Moarns, commercial traveller, who was run down by a horso and cart belonging to the Taicri and Peninsula Milk Supply Co. wlu-le riding a motor-bieydo, was awarded .£230 damages. A CHARGE THAT FAILED. Auckland, August 21. At the Supreme Court, John Ilayos and Georgo Cowen were charged with at'tcmpt.ed robbery from tho person of Richard liopps, and were acquitted.
