WHEAT CARGO DAMAGED Br Telegraph—Pr«s AjsoolaUon—OoDyrlgbt Perth, August 20, The steamer Raknia (5G28 tons grass, belonging to tho New Zealand Shipping Company), which was en route to Cardiff, wheat laden, lias arrived at Albany for bunkering purposes, with, a fire in No. 3 hold. Tho seat of the fire on tho Rakaia is 'on tho starboard side of No. 3 hold. There was also another outbreak in the lower crosshead of tho bunker. Tho Clayton patent fire-extinguisher is being used, and tho men are working with smoke-proof helmets. This hold contained 15,000 bags of wheat, a good deal of which, including 500 damaged bags, has been discharged'into tho hulks. Tho actual damage is unknown as yet.
