THE FIRST DAY. LIST OF CLASSES & HONOURS. The twenty-seventh annual dog show of the Wellington Ivenuel Club was opened in the Harbour Board's K Shed, on Waterloo Quay, yesterday, ind will bo continued to-day. Tho- entries for the show are numerically greater than, usual, and are especially numerous in the English setter section. It is something new to see so many Airedale terriers as are on exhibition. Tho fox terrier section probably constitutes a New Zealand record in numbers, and most of the other divisions are bettor filled than was tho case last year. The quality is good throughout, and thero aro on view fine specimens of almost every kind of dog for which there are classes. It is expected that the Countess of Liverpool will visit the show to-day.
