SUMMARY AND FORECAST.
Present indications aro for moderate to strong easterly winds generally. Unsettled and cloudy weather probablo northward of East Cape and Kawliia, and at times in the southernmost districts, but fair to cloudy weather ffencrally. The barometer has a, foiling tendency in the north, and is unsteady elsewhere. , The barometer rose rapidly on Saturday night and Sunday morning, and a decided improvement in the weather followed generally," though cloudy skios are still reported in the northern and southernmost districts. -m .
