General Sir lan Hamilton, InspectorGeneral of the Overseas Forces, in his report on the Canadian Militia, recommends tho establishment of a National Reserve arid the creating of adequate war stores. He also recommends longer periods cf training. • Colonel Sam Hughes, Minister for Defence and Militia, has taken an active interest in increasing the numbers, with the result that tho Canadian' Militia was never so efficient as at present.
