« RECRUIT LEVIES TO BE RAISED. By Tclccrapli—Press Association—Copyright v Vienna, August 17. It is proposed to raise the annual recruit levies of tho army to 260,000. Of tho additional 10,000, 28,000 will go to tho army and 2000 to the navy, the remainder going to tho landwchr (reserve). It is also proposed to increase tho number of cuvalry and artillery.
