PANAMA EXHIBITION.
NO GERMAN DISPLAY. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Berlin, August 17. Tho "North German Gazette" says that Germany -has declined to exhibit at the San Francisco Exhibition, industrial ■ciroles being overwhelmingly averse to doing 1 so, anticipating that there would be no useful results. Germany, adds the paper, hopes to show her friendliness by worthy representation at the opening of the canaO, for which the world is'indebted to America's energy. Berlin, August 18. Germany will not participate in the Panama Exhibition for the identical reasons that England has advanced.
