. -WELLINGTON PROVINCIAL EXECUTIVE. (By Telegraph— Special Correspondent.) Palmerston N., August 15. The Wellington Provincial Executive of the Farmers' Union yesterday resolved, on the motion of Mr. Matheson: "That it is desirable that agricultural high schools : should he established, and this executive trusts that the proposed Board of Agriculture" will establish them to keep the rising generation at country life." ■ '
The report of the conference between the- Sheep Federation and the Shearers' Union was given by the chairman (Mr. J. G. Wilson) who stated that the' agreement arrived at practically meant no alteration in the shearing rates for the next four years, a uniform rate of ,£1 per hundred all round being adopted. - • '
