KOCH'S MARCH OVER GREENLAND. By Teleepwh—Press Association — Copenhagen, August 14. Captain' Koch's Greenland expedition (news of which ivas cabled yesterday) wintered on inland ice eastward of Quean Louise Land. The majority of tho horses were slaughtered, but five were kept alivo and fed on the slaughtered animal's flesh. Captain Koch fell forty-two feet into a deep crevasse, and was laid tip with a broken, leg for three months. Violent blizzards were encountered during tho'7so-mile march. Tho horses went saowblind, and three became so exhausted that they had to be killed. A sailor Tescued by the expedition had been foodless for thirty-five hours. He had just killed and cooked, and was about to cat, a dog which had accompanied him tho whole way.
