BANKRUPTCY.
THE SOMERVSLLE CASE AGAIN. The Bankruptcy Court 6at yesterday morning, his Honour the Chief Justico (Sir Robert Stout) presiding. Mrs. Evelyn Russell liadcliffo Winder nmdo application for discharge, but did not appear. His Honour said that he had read the report, and it appeared a clear case of misfortune. The Ofiicial Assignee (Mr. A. Simpson) stated he had an undertaking from the oreditors to grant bankrupt her discharge, and give lier back her interest in her mother's property. The discharge tvus granted. The Somervillo Case. Wm. Goorge Somervillo also mode application for discharge, but did not appear. His Honour said that, in any case, on consideration, of the report, he should have adjourned the matter. "The "Wellington Timber Company, who are largo creditors in the estate, aro present to object to the discharge," said the Official Assignee. "I have no feeling in the mattor, except that. I think that the bankruptcy was a disgrace to the Dominion/' The application was adjourned until tho next sitting of tiho Court.
