SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Present indications aro for high west to 6outh-wo3toriy . winds northward of Kawhai and East Cape, and couth to south-westorly gales elsewhere. Heavy rain probable generally, with r'vers flooded on tho East Coast of the South Island, and snow 011 higher levels. Seas vory heavy southward ol East Cape to the Blull—the barometer rising everywhere. The centre of .the low pressure sy6tem is still apparently near Cape Foulwilid, but tho barometer has risen slowly at tho Bluff to-day.
