FRED. FITCHETT, Public Trustee. 2nd August, 1913. TO USERS AND PROSPECTIVE USERS OF REFRIGERATING MACHINERY. A NOTICE recently published by an Australian firm throughout NewZealand made it appear that we, having relinquished the Agency for "Linde" Refrigerating Machinery, were no longer in a position to supply or quote for refrigerating machinery of any sort. We have tho highest respect for tho firm in question, and aro qnito sure that there was no intention to convey this false impression. Wo, therefore, content ourselves with explaining the

circumstances We have handled tho "Lindo" Machine for nineteen years: for four years as "Agents" and for the last fifteen years uodcr a "license" to manufacture and sell in consideration of the payment by us of certain royalties and other fees. Prior to the expiry of this license in May last, vrc were invited to renew the agreement, for a further period of fifteen years; this we declined to do on account of the royalties and other feos demanded, which wo considered altogether excessive. Of our refusal to renew the agreement tho public will in future reap the benefit. ( . It is true that we can no longer supply or quote for the "Linde" Jlachino for the reason that the word "Linde" is a registered trade-mark—the property of the Linde Company. Wo shall, however, continue to manufacture and sail in Now Zealand or any other part cf the world an excellent machine, which we have named the "NATIONAL" REFRIGERATING MACHINE. This we guarantee to bo of EQUAL QUALITY AND EFFICIENCY TO THE MACHINES WHICH WE ■ HAVE HITHERTO TURNED OUT. Wo can supply complete installations, or we can supply Condensers, Coils, etc., as may be required. Wo venture to hope, that these to whom this is addressed will recognise that our long experience of refrigeration, ! combined with our knowledge of New Zealand users, thoir requirements, and the climatic conditions of the country, entitles us to a continuance of their confidence aud support.
