A deputation from all tho religious bodies in tho United Kingdom asked Sir Edward Grey, Secretary of Stato for Foreign Affairs,, and tho Marquis of Crewe, Secretary of Stato for India, to release China from her obligations, to permit the importation of twenty chests of Indian opium now at Hong-Kong, a treaty port.
