The "Herald," commenting on tho mention in tho New Zealand Budget of the increasing readiness f f the people tf Australia to subscribe to Dominion leans, says: "The same factor has been noticed in connection with tho indebtedness of the Commonwealth." Regarding reciprocity negotiations, the paper declares: "No doubt' they will be resumed by the present Commonwealth Government. There is certainly no objection in principle to the proposed agreement, which should stimulate tho interchange of commodities. The only question for discussion will be whether the dotails will represent a fair and equitable basis for an agree--1 ment."
