Dalgot.y and 00., Ltd., report:— At our Wangnjvui rale on Wednesday we had a fine yarding of sheep and a small yarding of cattle, and, with the exception of two email perns, effected a total clearance at prices which showed an advance on previous quotations. We quote:—F.M. owes in lamb, 16s. to 18s. 5d.; six-tooth and f.f.m. owes in lamb, 16s. sd. to 19s. Competition was hardly so keen as at the previous Dale, but we managed to make a good olearanco at tho. following rates:— Forward wethers and ewes, 18s. 4d.; empty owes, 14s. 6d.; light fat ewee, 175.; forward lambs, IBs. 10d.; ewes .in lamb to S.D. and 1 Lincoln, rams, 14s. to 14s. 3d. Notwithstanding that there were several outside buyers present, the sale dragged at the opening, aud continued so throughout tho auction, and nearly every pen offered was passed in. There was good competition throughout, and prices not only advanced, but -were very Arm throughout.
