RAND CRISIS OVER.
STATEMENT BY GENERAL BOTHA. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Sydney "Sun" Special—Aug. 6, 7.15 p.m.) Johannesburg, August G. General Botha, the Union Prime Minister, states that tho Rand crisis is past. The Government, lie says, intends to carry out its undertakings towards the men. He declared emphatically .that the Cabinet had no intention of going to the country on the Labour question. Permission would bo given immediately for the resumption of recruiting in the native territories.
