THE CAMP AT PALMERSTON. 7 (By Teloeraph.—Special Correspondent.) Palmcrston North, August C. 1 Tlio officers' c<nnp here, which litis uo\V boon running for ono month, was attended during the iirst period (thrco weeks) by 52 Aucklanders, G3 Wellington men, 38 Canterbury men, and 103 froni'Olago. The total was 251, of which 62 are coinmissioned and 192 non-commissioned officers. In addition, there were 7 staff officers, 23 of New Zealand Stall Corps, 103 R.N.Z.A., and 81 N.Z. Permanent Stair—a grand total of 4CB. The camn is compulsory for threo weeks for all Stall' officers, but optional for periods oi one week or over for Territorials oi cadets. Tho strongest clement has been llin non-BommiSbioncd officers,' who total 292.
