Homer of the trustees of the JLosque who convened the mass meeting of indignation and addressed the' mob have been arrested. • Tho incident has been viewed with much concern, as tho Mohammedans have already been unduly excited over tho Balkan War. The police had much difficulty in controlling a meeting held at Lucknow to protest against the action of tho Cawnpore authorities.
