Some imported Shire stallions were sold very cheaply. A bid of ISliO guineas for Bramliepe i'lutb, a six-year-old imported Sliiro stallion, was refused. Shitcs sold at from 87$ to 195 guineas; draughts, from 21 to 325 guineas. , Two draughts, on account of Mr. Jamos Grant, of .Ilawqra, sold for 3C afid CS guineas respectively. On account of Mr. Samuel Wilson, of Kiccarton, Mains Laird was sold for 90 guineas.
