INDIAN STUDENTS IN ENGLAND.

GROWING RACE PREJUDICE.' By Telegraph—Pices Association—Copyright (Rco. August 4, 11.40 p.m.) London, August 4. . :Tho, Hon 1 . Gopal Krishna Gokhalo (a member of tho Viceroy's Legislative Council), addressing the London Indian Association formed for tho benefit of tho Indian students, said that tho position of the latter in England had steadily grown more difficult. They were now treated with bare tolerance, and, in a few cases, with positive dislike.

The main cnuse of this growing racial colour prejudice was, ho considered, due partly to the new school of Imperialism which regarded the world for the whites, and looked ait the other race 3 as a footstool, and partly to tho greater share which tho self-governing Dominions were acquiring in shaping Imperial policy.
