FROM THE GREAT LAKES TO THE GULF OF MEXICO. By Telegraph-Press Association-Copyright (Rec. August 3, 5.5 p.m.) 1 A regular waterway service between the Great Lakes and the Gulf of Mexico will shortly be established. Passengers and freight will bo conveyed by means of barges on the lakes to Laialle, then by steamer down the Mississippi to New Orleans.
