The task of selecting the lacrosse team to represent "Wellington against Auckland oil August lli is by no means an easy one, and to enable the Selection Committee to mnko a filial selection to-mor-row evening, a further representative trial match will be played this afternoon at Wakelielcl Park (Duppa Street). Tho representative team (as provisionally selected) will play the next best twelve, tho match commencing at a p.m. Mr. A. C. Jantko will referee.
