MANAGEMENT OF "SOCCER."
Sir,—Will you bo cood enough to allow 'me through the medium of your paper to answer tho "Wellington* Football Association' Management Committee regarding their conduct in passing sentence of 5 years' suspension upon W. Hall, one of the members of the Corinthian football team? Sir, tho manner in which this unfortunate occurrence lies been investigated by tho committee has orce more demonstrated the utter folly of expecting."justice" from those who hide and conceal facts of public . interest and condemn players unheard. Might I ask the committee the following questions (1) What is the charge preferred against W. Hall?. (2) How many requests were made for him to appear, and the dates thereof? (3) How many players were convicted by them, and who were they, and who were requested to appear before the committee to offer an explanation! and defend themselves against tho' charges made?
Sir, it has been well understood that W. Hall neveri hrnl' any intention-of ap*' pearing before them, seeing his 'football career had been terminated; before, tho W.P.A. ordered his appearance, so tho sentence is void.—l am, etc., B.A.SIMPSON.
