Meiklo, of Epsom, Auckland, was charged, 011 tlio information of his wife, Jano Meikle, of Tuturau, with disol>eyanco of an order of tho Court made in Auckland to provide her with maintenance. Tho arroars amounted to i!2S to July. After hearing tho evidence of Mrs. Meikle, tho Magistrato (Mr. Young) made an order that J. J. Moiklo should bo imprisoned for 0110 month in Mount Eden Gaol, Auckland, to bo released on payment of tho ,£2B.
